This policy explains what personal information Ivykart collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to the Ivykart mobile app and to this website.
Abibo Brands Private Limited is the data fiduciary responsible for your information under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run your account and deliver your orders.

What we do not collect
We do not collect your date of birth, identity documents, precise location, contacts or photos. Card and UPI details are handled entirely by our payment provider. They never reach us and we never store them.
How we use it
To take and deliver your orders, to issue invoices and keep the accounting records the law requires, to manage credit if you trade with us on terms, to send notifications about your orders, and to help you when something goes wrong.
We do not sell your information to anyone.
Marketing is separate, and optional
Agreeing to use Ivykart is not agreeing to receive offers. Marketing messages need your separate, explicit consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time in the app under Privacy. Withdrawing takes effect immediately and does not affect your account or your orders.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who need it to make the service work: payment processing for prepaid orders, notification delivery for order updates, hosting and infrastructure, SMS delivery for one-time login codes, and accounting software for statutory records. Each is bound to use your information only for the service they provide to us. We share nothing for advertising or profiling.
How long we keep it
Account information for as long as your account is open, plus one year. Invoices, payment records and GSTIN for as long as tax law requires. Records of your consent for three years after you withdraw it, because that is our evidence that we handled it properly.
Your rights
- See what we hold. The app has a Privacy section where you can export all of it.
- Correct it if anything is wrong.
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time.
- Delete your account, in the app under Privacy.
- Complain, to our Grievance Officer or to the Data Protection Board of India.
One thing about deletion
When you delete your account we erase your personal information. We cannot delete invoices, because tax law requires us to keep them. Those records are separated from your personal details so they no longer identify you, and are kept only for as long as the law requires.
Keeping it safe
Your data is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted to staff who need it. Every change to credit limits, account approvals and prices is logged with who made it and when. We log in by one-time code rather than passwords, so there is no password to steal.
Children
Ivykart is a business service, is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
